About Los Coches Rd. Boulders:
| Los Coches Boulders is a medium sized boulder field on a steep hillside just 3 miles east of El Cajon. It's only one minute off the freeway and a 5 minute approach hike from the parking lot. These rocks have seen occasional use for many years but never developed as a major popular area, perhaps because of the steep hill. We can't offer much info regarding the boulder problems themselves, but exploration is half the fun anyway. |

| Access Issues: | Access Issue : Since 1996 the surrounding area has been totally developed with houses and a shopping center but physical access still exists. At this time we do not know if the boulder field land is privately owned or not. There does not seem to be a problem with access but maybe this is only because few people go there. |
