About Cragmont Park:

3 different places to set up TR. A few bolts left for leading, only placed every once in a while- kind of sketch. Easy walk from basketball court to set up TR, just climb over the stone retaining wall. This crag has been used since the early 1930's when members of the Sierra Club would come here and train for climbs in the Sierra Nevadas. Theres still a few bolts here that look like they're from the 30's, but it's been rebolted with nice new Metolius bolts. Get here early on the weekends as there are ususally several climbing groups wanting to set up ropes. There are bathrooms at the park, but you don't want to use them.
