Handleys rock is a little gem hidden in the foot hills of Redwood City. This rock is closed to climbing the third weekend of the month. There is a bunch of top ropes and a few boulder problems. This rock is two tiered, both being aprox. 25' high, the upper tier has the majority of climbing and looks like a skull. Beware of broken glass and trash, this is a drinking hang out for the high school kids. Bring a trash bag and do some cleaning.
There is very little information on Handleys, it can be found in an older Bay Area guide book. I do not know any of the names of the climbs (so I'll use descriptive names) but have climbed there 100's of time and I may be one of the best (and few, not to toot my horn) sources of information for Handleys! If your looking for specifics I can meet you at the rock and show you around, please PM me a few days in advance - radistrad. There are many other climbs and boulder problems that I did not list.
This small rock is in the middle of a neighborhood in San Mateo, on the East face. It has a few fun 1-2 move problems and is worth a couple afternoon hours.
 Directions: Kind of convoluted to get to, so just mapquest the cross of Handley Terrace and Sylvan Way in San Mateo or Redwood City for a map.
