About Pine Canyon - Mammoth Rock:

The biggest rock at the bottom of the canyon. This rock has high foot traffic from both day hikers and stoners alike so dont leave stuff laying around on top.
Approach: Drive Ygnacio Valley Blvd, out to Walnut Ave, Take a right at the Roundabout on Castle Rock Road then follow this to the end, a paved lot. Walk about 1/2 mile on a dirt Road. Mammoth Rock is the Larges, most obvious formation nearest the road on the left. A trail to Pagoda and Rock of Ages is at marker 10, about 100 yards after Mammoth Rock.
