About Hermit Rock:

Follow Gibraltar Rd past Gibraltar Rock aprox. 10 minutes. Take a small (unmarked rd.) to the right (E. Camino Cielo)aprox. 6 miles till you see a prominent rock face (Crag Full Of Dynamite) on your right. Park in the turn out. Hermit Rock is directly across the rd. from CFOD and down hill. Only the top of the crag is visible from the rd. There is no obvious trail down to the crag. Follow the scree on the left side (as your looking down the hill) till you hit the woodline and skirt the base of the rock thru the trees. Expect lots of Lichen and Moss!
