About KVD:

This is one of the tallest crags at the valley, and can be seen if you face south across the river, and high onto the ridge line. Its dominated by a large dihedral, with flanking faces. Some of it is bolted, but has good TR routes up to 100' in height.
Approach: Follow the trail that starts behind the Hike Shack in the Tuolumne side of the Stanislaus River. Trail goes to the right at the fork next to Polaris Rock (the big giant rock behind the hike shack).
Approach Time: Approx. 10-15 mins.

Access Issues: None as of summer 2007. A big tree was cleared by Theo Wirt and Alton Richardson at the begining of that summer.
