Lower Power Station
About Lower Power Station:
| A few good crack climbs and a bolted face climb on granite rock. Lots of bouldering problems in the area. Be carefull of falling rocks since the area is full of loose rock. |
| Approach: | Park in a dirt turnout across from the call box about 1.4 miles after entering the canyon from Bakersfield. This is just prior to the river power station. The trunout is protected from hwy 178 by many large boulders. From the turnout, hike south 40 yards along the line of boulders and the climbs will come in view up to the left. |
