About Patterson Bluff - Kings River:
| This area has huge potential and has a dozen or so established routes. Patterson Bluff is the main attraction to this area but there are other crags and domes in the area. There is a life time of climbing and bouldering. Some of the smaller crags off the road can be top roped and if you look hard enough you can find bolt in a few places. The rest of the climbing is bouldering or trad. |

| Directions: | From Fresno drive east on FRWY 180 until you have to get off on Clovis avenue. Make a right and then left on Belmont. Go east on Belmont for about an hour. You will be driving on the north side of Pine Flat Resevoir for part of the way. You will eventually, after crossing a few bridges, you come to a small PG&E town, Balch Camp. Once in the town make a right before the bridge and follow the road. You will see Patterson Bluff as you drive....WOW! |
