Description:

Use the "5.6 approach" to get to the base (left of Shambles) of a left facing arch. Climb a 5.8 ramp to the base of the arch. If its oozing, you'llhave to climb up the crack as far as you can, then strike out across the face with no pro. Belay at the left end of the arch. A pitch of face (some 5.9) takes you to the base of a right facing arch. this is sustained 5.8. Pass a break in the arch, then climb over it onto face and belay in right facing corner. Last pitch wander up face above, with a touch of 5.8. Old school fun.

I was blown away by Steve's lead across the face left of the first arch, a long way without pro. Best to wait until late August, early September, to find this dry, unless it is a dry year. If you can get past the first arch, you won't have any trouble with the rest fo the route.
