Description:
Ascend to the obvious lowpoint along the North Peak/Conness connecting ridge. Surmount two towers along the ridge. The climbing should never exceed 4th class, so look for an easier route before you rope up! Rappel twice from existing anchors or downclimb (5.6) 100 feet from the top of the second tower. The route begins here. Stay as close as possible to the crest of the North Ridge proper for 4-6 pitches. Most parties descend the East Ridge

Brought a fishing pole but didn't get to fish! Climbed the North ridge of North Peak and the North ridge of Mt Coness in a long day. Best day of climbing in a long time.

Soloed down this after climbing the West Ridge. I do NOT recommend the talus descent down to Roosevelt Lake. Saw a bald eagle.
No fixed raps when I was there, but soloing down the ridge is okay because you're going up on the 5.6 moves.
