About west facing wall, lower:

There are several excellent 5.8 cracks that split the lower tier of Puppy Dome's west face. Approach from the trail that goes into the woods behind the Wilderness Permit Office. Leave the trail about 100 yards inand head slightly up and left to the bench below the climbs. The lower tier is narrow and mostly treeless; if you find yourself on a broad, sandy bench with trees it is the upper tier. What I'm calling the "Unnamed Crack" is the first crack one comes to, a very obvious splitter that starts directly off the bench.
