Cream Area
About Cream Area:
A difficult to get to area with some good offwidths and thin hand cracks to keep you busy for a day. Good area for those hot days when you're chasing shade. |
Approach: | Park at the beginning of the stone wall after the Wawona tunnel heading south on HWY 41. Fruitlessly try and follow a faint trail down the hill. Try and locate the ditch (keep slightly left) then head rigth to a power poll. Follow the power lines right to the next power poll. Now head down a steep gully through loose rock and bushes. Fixed lines are sometime present. Follow the gully until it's obvious to head left to the base of Cream which should be easily visible. You go down this gully longer than you might think. |
