Description:

This route is just around the corner from Salathe base. This climb starts out with some hard 10a fingers and the crack gets wider as you climb higher going into some OW. A hard climb for 10a. Bring extra large gear!

4 out of 5 stars burly

long and sustained pitch for a crack novice like myself. I was ready for my water once I got to the top. Second pitch is an anticlimax, but the long rap off the other side is fun.

5 out of 5 stars Fun little route

Thought the start was a bit stiff for .10a but not by much. The rest was pretty streight forward 5.8 hands to a short 5.9 fist section to the top. Couple finger pieces down low, two #1,s a #2 up higher and one number 4 C4 will do the trick as there are a couple good fixed pins protecting much of the route. Good into to OW climbing up an easy fist crack.

5 out of 5 stars Moby Dick

Thin fingers to not quite ow, but too big for fists. Make sure to bring at least one 3.5 camalot for the wide part.

4 out of 5 stars Only brought 1 #4 Camalot :(

Good climb, but I could have used an extra #4 for the top of the first pitch. Ended up just walking it all the way up with me.
