Description:

This was the third route up El Capitan and follows a very natural system of corners. The route is an offset alien walkup for the most part now, with very little nailing required. However, it is not true that the nailing is concentrated on the first 5 pitches. About every other pitch takes a pin or two. This route was soloed by Bev Johnson in 1978 for the first female solo of El Capitan.
