5 out of 5 stars Still a Classic

Did a night ascent of it.
Still a fun route.
Wish I could free some of those pitches on the Muir portion.

3 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Partner: Steve Hunt
Comments: 3rd El Cap route. Originally planned on doing Shield, settled for Triple Direct. Very unsettled weather, freezing precipitation. Climbed Free Blast/fixed to Heart Ledge, took Magic Mushroom to Gray Ledges, 5 bivies.
