About Arches Terrace Area:

To the right (E) of the Royal Arches Route (5.9) is a huge gold slab with crispy edges. This is where you can find such friable old style slab masterpieces as "The Rambler" (5.10d), "Shaky Flakes" (5.11a), "Friday the Thirteenth" (5.10b), and "Reefer Madness" (5.10d R/X). Approach: Walk several hundred yards east along the horse trail from the Ahwahnee Hotel before striking steeply up the hill.
