Description:

From Mtn Project: This is the second bolted route from the left on Lower Bowling Alley. Climb past five bolts on the face between "[Dry Run]" and Father Figure to a ledge. 9-. Once on the ledge climb past two bolts with the crux getting to the anchors. Rolofson's guide has it listed as 5.10d, while Mtn Project consensus has it at 5.10. There's really only one tricky move at the top, perhaps not for tall climbers. Much easier if you stem off block far right.

3 out of 5 stars blew onsight with a slippery left foot

as the header says, i blew the onsight. I can usually onsight at 5.11a, but this was a twister of a crux move to sort out on the fly. Lower section is not difficult and doesn't make the grade. However, the top section is tricky to balance and in-step to complete the last clip and move to the anchors. Stay off (don't stem) the block to right to make the grade somewhat legitimate.

2009/08/01: AFter sending my 5.12a project, I went back to this climb to clean it up and get the redpoint. WEnt smoothly. Did what I had to do and stuck the crux.
