About Flatirons - The Maiden:
| This is an awesome 350 foot tall spire of rock with an extremely overhung west face, famous for the free rappell down to the doormat sized "Crow's Nest". Well worth the hike for the climbs, rappell, and history. |

| Directions: | Approach via the south end of the Mesa Trail. After a mile take the right fork and walk through the meadows to an old quarry. A small trail leads from here up to the east face of the spire. |
