Description:
A short but fun dihedral. A good intro to finger and hand jams for the beginner. You'll jam with your right and smear on the left. An interesting twist I guess - definitely worth doing.

an easy trad lead, but fun. led this, then pulled the rope up to set up a top-rope on a large eye-bolt at the top of Direct West Bench

i found this rock ridden with grassy areas and growth. It made the climbing harder but it was still an easy route.

Ascent Note
This was my first lead since May 2005. I broke a bone in my foot and was out the majority of the season. I top roped this route the week before and came back to lead it. The West Bench area is a fun place with a lot of different problems to work. The dihedral, while short, was fun and I'd recommend it to someone new to jams.
