About Citadel Boulder:

A single low, but high-quality boulder just below the east side of Castle Rock. About half a dozen problems including the classic namesake V8 and the testpiece Free Range (V13). A great winter boulder.
Approach: About 12 miles up the canyon on the left, look for the large dome of Castle Rock. Turn left onto a dirt road that circles back east around the formation, cross the bridge and park. The boulder is obvious just across the stream. Rock hop or wade across to it (depending on water level.)
