The Corridor
About The Corridor:
The Corridor is one of the nicer "easy" bouldering areas at Castlewood. Start from the inner canyon trail and walk west along the creek trail. After passing under the power lines look for a pine tree that the trail splits around. There should be a climbers trail heading up right by a boulder. Here is the tricky part. Follow the trail uphill and walk up between two boulders. Take the notch going left behind the large boulder just above this. Head left and you will come up to the first wall. A nice easy long traverse here and several straight ups with generally good landings. Follow the wall until it ends then climb up the various boulders and head back right into the "corridor" Many straight ups and traverses exist here. Almost all of the landings are excellent. |
