NOTE: Catslab is now CLOSED to public access - the land has changed private ownership and access is blocked. This is the moderate area for clear creek hosting 9 routes between 5.4 and 5.10, be careful at this area two people died out here last year because they made stupid mistakes. Many of the climbs require 2 ropes. The locals are know for occasionally shooting at the hangers and the owner wants to turn the surronding area in to a housing development so dont give them any reason to close it down to climbing. {Reno Edit: The Catslab is just past the 5th tunnel. Pull-off parking on the left side of the road. Cross the creek on the road, then take the approach trail. END EDIT} |
