The River Wall
About The River Wall:
| Great adventure sport climbing on a north west facing crag that comes right out of the water. It can be divided into two sections: the slabs and the overhangs above. The big number routes in the overhangs are accessed by climbing something on the slabs to a traverse on the 5.2 ledge system to your desired route. The slab routes start at the bridge abutment and continue rightward across the wall. The rightmost slab routes start at anchors above the river and can be approached by traversing above the river or rapping from anchors on the ledge above. The quickest approach to "Adventure Kayak Trundle" and neigboring routes that avoids squeeezing through the "Snead Slot" behind the giant block is a link-up of "The River Mild" and "Grilled Trout". |
