3 out of 5 stars Really neat crux

My partner got shut down when he couldn't figure out the crux, so I went up and tried. I think the 10d rating is fair, simply because it's so tricky.

IMHO, this is not a 10d, 10b max.

I almost blew it at the crux by trying to go up and right of the bolt. After trying to figure out the impossible-looking moves a few times, I stepped down to re-evaluate the funky-looking layback to the left. Trust your feet, balance on the sloping ledge, and lay it over to the left -- it goes just fine. A fun route.

Great climb, although it's kinda dirty and you have to dodge some chunks of moss. tricky start, crux is at an overhang with numerous side-pulls. after that, difficulty at most is 5.9.
