Description:

This obvious flat faced wall is located just left (west) and below the large belay landing for Cowboy Boot crack on the southwest side of North Gateway.

This beautifully thin and somewhat loose bouldering area is named for it's popularity during winter as it's face is shielded from the wind (most of the time) and the sun exposure melts away any snow quickly. Presents excellent, thin edging traverses left and right along this wall for about 50 feet. Routes and difficulty vary. Guidebook says 5.9 for the traverse but it feels like a good 5.10

Cool, thin edging on the semi-solid rock. Couple moves I'm still working, can't seem to link the whole thing together just yet.
