Description:

An excellent traverse route on thin, tenuous face holds. This is an ever-changing route as the holds are constantly breaking off and I think it's currently a bit harder than it's listed difficulty - but not much. Begin by scrambling up the wash-out (Tourist Gulley) to the first large eye-bolt where the belayer should anchor in. The climb directly right to the finger and the anchors for FINGER RAMP.

*EDIT*: Route is now going about 5.9+/10- due to some serious rock breakage in the last few months. -Jan 02

2 out of 5 stars Bad Bad Day

I led this flaky mess. My wife, Tammy, came behind on clean-up. Right after the last pin, she fell and pendulumed into the bottom of the finger outcrop. She smashed her head into the rock (no helmet). She was in a coma for a week and in rehab for months. Even now (11 years later), she has memory problems and nerve damage. It was the worst day of my life. We did everything right that day, except for wearing helmets. Just goes to show, any climbing route can kill you if you're careless.

3 out of 5 stars So This is the Garden

An interesting lead due to the pedulum nature of the route and the very technical feet. Was just as interesting leading as following.

Great, thin route, although the holds are always breaking off - watch what you decide to pull on.
