This is another of my favorites. If it went on for another 100 ft. it would be super classic. Either way it's still really great. I wouldn't worry about the lack of gear at the bottom. If you fall it will most likely be about 10 feet sliding. The story is that the pitons placed on the first ascent actually widened the crack to where it is now. Before the erosion it was apparently barely tips and it was more of a slab climb which would have made it significantly more difficult.
