4 out of 5 stars Brain Cloud

Good climb all around; fun arete moves and well worth another climb.

3 out of 5 stars Fun Arete

Better route than I expected, however I agree with one of the other posters, very sketchy mantle move in the middle, but I suppose that's what gives it the 9 rating. If you're planning on setting up a top-rope when you get up there makes sure you bring a 30 ft. cordalette with you to get your rope safely over the edge.

3 out of 5 stars Tricky!

Liked it, but found it very sneaky.

2 out of 5 stars Meh

Scary mantle move. I agree the anchor is not particularly confidence-inspiring.

3 out of 5 stars unthoughtful runout...

runout between bolt 1 and 2 will result in a grounder on a boulder if someone slips. yes, it's only like 5.5-6 climbing between 1 and 2, but it's just unnecessary to bolt a sport route with a grounder fall left in place IMO.

07/12/2009: the quick links and rap rings are too thin of gauge on the ends of the rusty old chains. Looks like 1/4 inch! One of the quick links was half unscrewed. I finger tightened.

Otherwise a fairly fun arete to climb.
