Description:

Lost Rat is the prominent couloir on the east side of Grays' NE Face. The couloir reaches 40 degrees at its steepest point. Follow the couloir up and gain the ridge (watch for falling rocks!) Once on the ridge, it's a short and easy walk to the summit. The best route for a descent is following the Grays Peak Trail to the saddle of Grays/Torreys - several great glissades from the saddle to the gulch.
