Description:

Start the the Blue Lakes trailhead at the end of Blue Lakes Road. Try to find a trail above the north end of the reservoir, but if not aim for the flatter shoulder of Quandary high above the lake. Traverse it until you come to the hanging valley between Fletcher and Quandary. Walk up the valley(deep snow, watch avy conditions carefully) tothe saddle between Fletcher and Quandary. Head right up Fletcher's ridge to the summit.
A full day of effort.

2 out of 5 stars One of my earliest routes...

Climbed in a snowstorm, which added some flavor to a typical Colorado ridge scramble.
