About Black Wall:

A nice steep wall on the flank of Mt. Evans (Spalding). To find it, follow a faint trail from the lake parking lot (to your right as you face the Aprons). Eventually, you will be above a steep wall. Look for a steep gulley/chimney and after you pass it along the cliff top, look for a 2 bolt rap anchor (you'll have to leave a couple of runners here and get them when you're done - hey, that way someone might know if you're still there).Edit: As of 8-26-2004 there are chains on the summit anchor(and a bolt was replaced), the second rappel was also cleaned/beefed up and has chain's. 2 60m rappels get you to the base of most climbs. The description may sound vague, but will make sense if you're there.
