Description:
This climb is a sporty alternative to Blitzen Ridge and can be climbed as an alternative to Y Couloir if the couloir's conditions are unfavorable. Approach: The same as the Y Couloir approach. Cross the lakes to the right at the natural bridge and scramble up to the obvious ledge. Climb: The route starts on the buttress to the right of Blitzen Face. Proceed up the buttress until it intersects with the upper part of Blitzen Ridge. Summit via the remainder of Blitzen Ridge. Other Details: The amount of loose rock is comparable to many other less traveled alpine routes in the park. Descent: Donner Ridge

Ascent Note
M Kelly and I actually had the FA of this route. It is a relatively moderate climb but is long. Great views of Blitzen Ridge on the way up. There is also a nice airy traverse before the route joins Blitzen Ridge.
