Description:

From the Bear Lake trailhead go to Lake Helene. At the saddle here head north towards the gully climber's left of the obvious spire. Look for a grassy bench climber's right and follow this towards a break on the ridge that looks easy. This lands you on another grassy bench where you'll head up steppy terrain to the left of the bowl. Shortly after this head through the namesake notch and the go skiers left up a ramp and find a break in the steepness to get to the summit. There are many variations that can be harder.

Descent Options:

There is a rappel and a downclimb option

4 out of 5 stars Exciting

Really easy and intersting mountaineering route. Involves lots of third and fourth class with a few pitches here and there of actual climbing.
