Chasm Lake Ice
About Chasm Lake Ice:
| The area around Chasm Lake in the Longs-Meeker cirque has many opportunities for great ice outings. There are pure waterfall ice climbs on the outflows from Chasm Lake and above Peacock Pool and challenging mixed climbing available on the lower east face of Longs, below the Diamond. In this high, shady alpine area, the ice is usually the longest lasting in the state, with good climbing on solid ice well into June. |
