Description:

Fun 3rd class scramble up the east ridge. Approach from the trail at Coal Bank Pass. Easy to do in a day. Has one 20ft chimney section that is more like 4th class. Nice view from the top. Great introductory winter mountaineering climb. Just be aware of the avy danger.
