Description:

This route is Class 3 (not 5.3). From South Colony Lakes: Climb up and over Broken Hand Pass. Descend toward Cottonwood Lake to the NW. Traverse all the way around the lake to the west side. Past the lake, notice the distinctive red couloir (South Couloir) to the right leading directly up to the summit. Ascend the red (south) couloir. Reach a notch, then traverse left (W) to the summit block. Descend same route.
