Description:

The most popular route up Mt. Elbert for any number of reasons. Class I, interesting topography and summit tundra. Great east-facing cirque for late spring skiing.

First winter ascent!! ROCK ON! too much fun! 24 mi round trip great with snowshoes, possible in 2 days. No one has been near treeline in months. But we blazed the trail for ya!!
