About Tenmile Canyon:

Tenmile Canyon, AKA Officers Gulch, is a nice ice climbing area right along I70 just west of Dillon. Ice comes in pretty early here and the approaches couldn't be more casual. Just be careful of avalanche danger-every route sits at the bottom of an avalanche chute and it is suicidal to climb here when the high slopes are loaded.
Nearest town or city: Dillon
Directions: Drive west on I70 from Dillon to the Officers Gulch exit. All climbs are on the south side of the road and are accessed by a good falt trail running along the bottom of the canyon. Most climbs are wet of the trailhead, but a few are on the east side.
