About Cedar Park Slab:

Cedar Park Slab is the large granite slab prominently visible to the north as one drives to the Monastery. It offers nice slab climbing on hard, fine-grained granite interspersed with large pink quartz dikes. Bring a light rack up to #3 friend with a few draws. Doubles in small cams (.3" to .75") are nice. Though there are only a few established routes, much more could be done, especially in lower grade adventure climbing/scrambling for those who don't mind runouts.
Nearest town or city: Drake
Directions: Follow the directions to get to the Monastery, but at the last left, head right instead directly towards the rock and park at a T-intersection that turns into private drives on either side. The rock is on public land, but all approaches cross some private land, so be quiet and respectful. The descent is an easy walk off to the East.
