About Combat Rock:

An excellent granite cliff that rises 250' out of the canyon and offers a number of good bolted and trad climbs. Most of the routes are on the crag's south-facing steep slabs.

Nearest town or city:	Drake
Directions:	From Estes Park, drive east on US 34 for 13 miles to the small town of Drake. Turn west in Drake on Devils Gulch Road and follow it for 1/2 mile to Cedar Park Road (FR 128). It's the first dirt road on the right, labeled "Forest Access". Follow the steepening road through numerous switch-backs for .8 mile and park in a large pulloff on the north side of the road. Follow a short climber's access trail for 10 minutes to the north to the crag's base. Closest camping is 20 miles away in RMNP.
