About Land of the Overhangs:
| On the ridge facing the 'resevoir' just to the south of Soldier Canyon Dam (where the tropics used to be - at the end of Laporte Street). Best access is with a mountain bike or hiking. Go to Rotary and go along the closed road or trails past the Sunrise Day use area (location of the Scoop Bouldering ara). When you get to the pullout on the left of the road just prior to Soldier Canyon Dam you've reached the Land of the Overhangs. |
