Description:
A fun, varied route that makes a good intro to offwidth climbing. Start as for the Great Dihedral and climb into a hand crack on the left. Belay on a good ledge after 50 feet (guidebook recommends a hanging belay after another 50 feet, I would strongly recommend against this option). P2 continues up the crack, which eventually vanishes, necessitating an exciting 8+ traverse right to another crack, which is followed to a belay ledge. For P3 drop down 10' and traverse to the obvious hands to offwidth crack. This is really fun 8+ climbing. Be prepared to walk a #5 camalot or run it out on the upper part--there is also small gear available within the crack in a couple places.

Ascent Note
Awesome route. Spiciest part was getting into the Orange Julius traverse - the traverse itself was actually easy, it was stepping up into it that scared me senseless. Great offwidth pitch!!! We topped out by climbing up the funky looking rock at the top - head for the tree ( this wasn't in the guidebook)
