East and north a bit of the Apex Boulder is a severely overhanging boulder covered in chalk, the problems see a lot of action and due to the overhanging nature of the rock no rain water washes it off. The aspens surrounding this boulder make for great photo-ops in the fall when the aspen leaves start to turn yellow and orange.
