About Prospect Mountain:

Prospect Mountain is identified by the tourist gondola on its north side. Two spires on the southeast ridge, the Thumb and Needle, are the sources of climbing. There exists a very wide range of difficulty.
Nearest town or city: Estes Park
Directions: Take highway 7 out of Estes park, turn right on Peak View Drive, turn right again on an unmarked paved road next to a large boulder. Drive until a gate bocks the way. Park by, but not blocking, the gate.
