This is probably the best moderate trad line on the South St Vrain. It follows an obvious splitter on the right hand block near the top of the formation facing the river. Pitch 1 (5.6?) is a token scramble up some loose manky rock for about 80' to a sloping ledge which is the start of pitch 2. Pitch 2 is the business - a very sustained hands to fingers crack (about 50' long) that clocks in at 5.9+. The crack starts with good thin hand jams and tapers down to a thin seam that occasionally allows some finger locks. Small stoppers and cams are a must for the last 15-20' of the climb.

Wow - finally got around to climbing this one now that the water level is down on the river. Very very nice second pitch. Tom lead this section, beautiful climbing. I will definitely have to go back and take a crack at this on lead next week.
