About Scout Slab:

Right off the road next to Scout Rock, this is the first area encountered driving through the canyon. There are a few established routes here, mainly easy trad.
Approach: Follow highway 7 out of the canyon for about 3 miles until you get to the mouth of the canyon. Here there will be pullouts on both sides of the road with the climbing on the right and the creek on the left. Scramble up the gully to to east facing wall. (Watch out for poison ivy).
