About The Lion's Den:

A complex nest of corridors behind and uphill from the Sepulcher (Catacomb) and next to the Nursery. Best approach is from the Catacomb. From the routes on the Sepulcher go down hill until possible to traverse over the toe of the Sepulcher and head uphill through a section of smaller rocks. Head uphill and skirt the next rocks on the left. Two towers sport some routes. The left tower is Wedding Rock, the right is Barnacle Rock. Moving 50 yards up a scree filled gulley you will find a bolted prow on the left (Bear Hug and excellent 11a) and the Lion's Mane Pillar (2 bolted routes and a crack). These routes are a bit out of the way, but sometimes offer some seclusion and quality routes.
