The Outer Gates
About The Outer Gates:
Here you will find mostly moderates from 5.7 to 5.10a on low angled rock featured with a multitude of crystals to pinch and highstep on. The Outer Gates are located on the southeast sides of the main area of the Monastery - adjacent to the Vestibule. From the main approach trail take the second (first major) downhill trail (heading SE). If you reach the Guardian you need to go back and look for the downhill trail. This trail passes two routes on the 'Not So Hairy Pin' and then turns SW and drops further soon reaching the towers that make up the Outer Gates. |
