Description:

A great route up the dark streak on the steep central slab offers desperate bolt-protected face climbing. It can be done in 2 pitches with a bolted sling belay, or one long rope-length line to the summit slabs. Many parties rap from the chains at the first belay stance. Begin right of the huge flake and follow the 7 bolts up to 5.12 moves on the steep headwall. From the 2-bolt stance, work up and left to a moderate crack that finishes the route. *NOTE: The hanging belay stance sits right in the middle of the crux section and, if used, is considered a rest point.
