About Eleven-Mile Canyon:

Eleven mile offers literally thousands of bouldering opportunities and has a LIFETIME of climbing. Excellent place in mid summer, high elevation makes it extremely cold ( and windy as hell) during the worst of the winter months, but south-facing crags often remain clean from snow and are comfortably climbed year round. Bring some type of bug pro for the summer months. ITS A MUST!!! *NOTE: This is a state park and you must pay a fee ($4 per car, as of 20 October 2001) for a day pass only.
Nearest town or city: Lake George
Directions: From Colorado Springs, take Highway 24 west through Woodland Park and Divide to the Lake George area. Look for a sign that will direct you to turn left - it's an obscure access road so keep your eyes out when you come into Lake George. The road will be between two buildings, a convenience store will be the building on the right as you make the left onto the road. Go for about 300m and you'll see the park entrance on the right.
